Meet the Team

Shu Yi Zhou

Shu Yi Zhou (she/her) is an educator with over a decade of experience who specializes in the college application and pre-collegiate summer program process. In the past, she spearheaded a nation-wide summer programs initiative and sent over 600 students to over 40 pre-collegiate summer programs across the globe annually. A strong believer in centering students in her work, Shu Yi has been invited to be a speaker in higher education panels, facilitated workshops at conferences, and has served on multiple committees at national educational access organizations. She’s currently a Program Manager at Yale University where she is on the academic team, and creates and implements curriculum for a global network of students.

Shu Yi received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University at Albany, and her Master’s of Education degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Fun Facts: She’s passionate about empowering youth activists and the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and supporting underrepresented students in the higher education space.

Shu Yi’s an avid podcast listener, a self-taught painter, and enjoys teaching her bilingual rescue pup, Kiko commands in English and Cantonese.
